Other Skills:
Coordination
Speed
Set up:
Divide participants into groups of 3-4 participants.
Each group will get a frisbee and a ping pong ball.
Have a starting line or pylon for each group.
Around 15-20 feet in front of each starting pylon place another pylon for each group; that is their turn around pylon.
In between those two pylons place hoops, ropes and other pylons as obstacles.
Step by Step:
1. Each group will line up behind their starting pylon.
2. The first participant in each group will take the frisbee and hold it like a waiter(tress) holds a tray. They will have their palm facing up and right above their shoulder. They will place the ping pong ball on top of the frisbee.
3. When the leader says 'Go', all participants with the frisbee will start to run to their turn around pylon.
4. They have to avoid all the obstacles as they are running.
5. If the ping pong ball falls off their frisbee, they have to pick it up, put it back on and continue to run.
6. When they get to the turn around pylon, they run around it and run back to their group.
7. When they get back, they give the frisbee and ping pong ball to the next participant in line.
8. That participant then does the same thing.
9. Continue until all participants have had a turn.
Variations:
If a participant touches an obstacle, then the participant has to do 3 heel raises (or another consequence).
Don't have any obstacles.
Each participant has a frisbee and a ping pong ball, and they're all holding them like a tray. Participants try to knock down the frisbee and/or ping pong ball of other participants, while keeping theirs up right.
