Equipment: Badminton racquets
Birdies
Net
Targets: Hoops, pylons, tennis balls, footballs, etc.
Objective:
Participants practice their badminton serve, hit, and aim by trying to hit the targets on the other side of the net.

Set up:
Depends on the number of badminton nets, but divide participants into enough groups for the nets.
Place hoops, pylons, tennis balls, and other objects as targets on one side of the badminton court.
The participants will start on the other side of the net, and one participant will have a racquet.
Step by Step:
1. Have a participant start on the other side of the net and hit the birdie over to the participant with the racquet, or have the participant self serve the birdie.
2. The goal for each group is to hit all of the targets.
3. They have to get the birdie to land in the hoop, hit the pylon, hit the tennis ball, land behind a rope, and so on.
4. When a participant hits a target, they remove that target from the area.
5. Each participant gets one (or two) tries to hit a target, and then the next participant in line goes.
6. Could add different points for each target, and have two participants hit from the same court (make sure they are safe and do not get in the way of each other).
7. When participants are waiting for their turn, they can do a set activity, throw a beanbag to each other, do jumping jacks, dance, follow the leader, and so on.
Variations:
Use a balloon, and one participant will hit or throw a balloon in the air, and the other participant will have a racquet and birdie, and try to serve the birdie so it hits the balloon.
Don't use a net.
Set this up for volleyball and/or tennis.
Participants have to throw a beanbag or tennis ball over the net to hit the targets (with their eyes closed to make it harder).
