Objective:

Other Skills:
Coordination
Set up:
Divide participants into groups of 3-5 participants.
Place cut out paper circles (targets) on a wall (different sizes), and spread them out. Each circle could have a number representing it's points on it, or they could have a group's colour drawn on it (give each group a colour), or have them all be the same. If each circle represents a certain number of points, then have smaller circles be worth more points than bigger circles.
Place a hoop for each group (play 2 groups at a time) around 10-15 feet in front of the wall.
Around 30 feet behind the hoop place a pylon.
Beside the hoop, have a bucket or hoop filled with beanbags/tennis ball/footballs/basketballs (whichever object participants will be throwing).
Step by Step:
1. The goal for each group is to aim and hit the paper circles (targets) with the object they are throwing.
2. The leader will stay close to the wall and will be the judge (ideal to have more than one judge).
3. If each target has points written on them, then when a group hits that target they get those points. The leader can leave the targets up there, or take it down and it can't be hit again. If they leave it up, then play for a set amount of time, or until one group has a set amount of points.
4. If the targets are coloured, then each group has to try to hit their own coloured circles. When one is hit, the leader will take it down from the wall. The team to hit all of their coloured circles first wins.
5. If the targets don't have points or colours, then when a group hits one, then the leader takes it down and places it in a hoop or a spot designated for that group.
6. Each group will start in a line behind their pylons.
7. When the activity begins, the first participant in each line will run to their hoop, pick up their throwing object, and throw it towards the targets while standing in the hoop.
8. After they throw, they will run back towards their line.
9. As soon as they reach the pylon, the next participant in lines runs to the hoop.
10. If the leader is taking down a target, then the participants will wait to throw.
11. If there is only one throwing object per group, then after a participant throws, they will retrieve the object, place it in their hoop, and run back to their pylon.
12. Play until all targets are hit, a team reaches a set amount of points, all coloured targets have been hit by one team, or there are no targets left.
Variations:
At the start of each round the leader will say which target has to be hit (or only have one target, and place it in different spots each round). If the first participants don't hit it, then the next participants will try. The first group to hit the set target gets a point.
Participants move to their hoop and back with different movements, such as: skipping, side shuffle, grape vine, and so on.
Instead of circles as targets, have different shapes.
Tape balloons to walls, and participants have to hit the balloons.
