Set up:
Answers are all Numbers Set Up: Scatter a deck of cards around an area, so they are face down. Ensure there is room between and around the cards for participants to safely move around. Number cards will represent the number on them, Ace will represent 1, Jack will represent 11, Queen will represent 12, and King will represent 13. Or write numbers from 1-13 on pieces of paper and place them under cones, or tape them to a beanbag or tennis ball. Make sure there are 2-4 of each number represented under the cones.
Divide participants into groups of 3-4.
Place starting cones approximately 15 feet away from the scattered cards. Each group will start behind a cone.
Write Down the Answer Set Up: Divide participants into groups of 2-3 participants. Place a cone for each group in a circle. 10 feet behind each group's cone, place another cone. The leader will stand in the middle of the circle in a hoop.
Step by Step:
Answers are all Numbers

1. Each group will be in a line behind their starting cone.
2. The leader will ask a question about Canada to the first participants in each group. All the answers to the questions will be a number from 1-13.
3. Please see the attached document for a list of questions to ask participants. Of course, feel free to add in your own Canadian questions; the more, the merrier!
4. If the leader asks "What day in July is Canada Day?", then the first participant in each line is going to run to scattered cards (or beanbags or cones). They will flip over each card looking for the card with the answer to the question. In this case, participants will be looking for an Ace or the number 1. When a participant finds one, they pick it up and run to the leader. If they bring the wrong card the leader, the leader will send them back to try again.
5. The first participant to give the leader the correct answer, wins that round.
6. The other groups have to do a set exercise. They could have to do 15 jumping jacks, run on the spot for 15 seconds, do 10 squats, do 15 heel raises and so on. Change the exercise for each round.
7. Or play so that the last group to bring back the correct answer has to do the set exercise.
8. The participants will put the cards back in the card area and place them face down.
9. The leader will read the next question, and the next participant in each group will run to the scattered cards.
10. Optional to switch the location of the cards a couple times each game, so participants won't know where the correct numbers are.
11/ Play until all questions are asked, or for a set amount of time.

Write Down the Answer:
1. Divide participants into groups of 2-3 participants.
2. Give each group index cards and a pen/pencil. Groups will come up with a team name, and they will write it at the top of their index cards.
3. Place a cone for each group in a big circle, and evenly space them out.
4. Behind each cone, place another cone around 10 feet away.
5. The leader will stand in the middle of the circle with a hoop.
6. Each group will decide who will be #1, #2 and #3.
7. The leader will read a question about Canada (please see the attached document for questions to ask). The leader will read the question two times and make sure all the groups heard them. Then they will say "Go" or "Eh!" or "Canada".
8. In the first round, the #1 participant for each team will write down the answer to the question on an index card (the other group members can help them), then they will run to the cone behind them, run around it and then run to the middle of the circle and put their index card in the hoop.
9. The leader will read the first index card to get in the hoop. If the correct answer is written down, then that group scores a point. If the first index card was not correct, then they will give it back to the participant, who will run back to their group, write down a different answer, run to the cone behind them and back to the hoop.
10. The leader will then read the second index card that was put in the hoop, and if that is correct, then that group gets a point.
11. The losing group(s) for each round will have to do a set exercise, such as jumping jacks, heel raises, burpees and so on. Could play so that only the last group to bring the correct answer has to do the set exercise.
12. The next round, #2 will be the runner, and so on.
13. Play until all the quesitons are asked or for a set amount of time.
Variations:
If playing with cones, participants have to pick up the cones and look under or in them to find the number.
Participants have to hop, jump, skip, crab walk, speed walk or another form of movement to the cards.
Have a row of 13 cones between two groups with beanbags or tennis balls on top of the cones. Each cone will represent a number from 1-13. When the leader reads the question (for numbered answers), the first participant in each line will run to the cones and take the beanbag off the cone that represents the number to the answer.
Each group will have 13 beanbags and a hoop set up in front of them. After the question is read, they will put the correct number of beanbags in the hoop. Then they will all run to a hoop set up 10-15 feet in front of them, stand in it and say "Maple Syrup" (or something else). The first group to do this, with the correct answer, gets a point for that round.
Write Down the Answer: If in a classroom, the first participant to write the correct answer on the board, gets a point for their team (spelling can count!).
