Remove any safety hazards from the play area.
Equipment: Audio equipment with music (optional).
Objective:
For pairs to be the last frog and log in the game.
Other Skills:
Endurance
Set up:
Have participants get into pairs.
Have them decide who will be the frog and who will be the log.
Step by Step:
1. All the frogs will make a circle.
2. All logs will make a circle around the frog circle.
3. When the music starts, or when the leader says 'Go', all of the frogs will run in a circle going clockwise and all the logs will run in a circle going counter-clockwise. Participants cannot pass the participant in front of them, they must stay in the same order.
4. When the music stops, or when leader says "Frog on a Log", participants will find their partner and the frog will sit on the log. The log will kneel down with one knee and have their other leg out for the frog to sit on.
5. The last pair to have the frog sitting on the log is eliminated.
6. Continue playing until there is one pair left.
Variations:
Change how participants move around in the circle each round. Could be walking, skipping, hopping, jogging, running etc.
Do some practice rounds before the elimination portion begins.
Switch the frog and log for the next round.

Adaptations (General):
It may make sense for some participants with disabilities to be the "log". Emphasize safety and encourage participants to be aware of the limitations of others within the group.
