Equipment: 1 frisbee per participant.
1 beanbag per participant
Rope or pylons for starting line.
Objective:
For participants to throw and catch their own frisbee.
Set up:
Give each participant a frisbee.
Have a starting line set up, so that there is a lot of room in front of it for participants to run.
Have a beanbag for each participant.
Step by Step:
1. Participants can practice throwing the frisbee ahead of them and then running to catch it.
2. The higher the throw, the easier it will be for them to run and catch it.
3. After participants have practiced for a while, have a competition.
4. All participants will stand behind the starting line.
5. One at a time, each participant will throw their frisbee and run to catch it.
6. They will drop a beanbag where they caught it as a marker.
7. Each participant can have 2 tries.
8. After they place their beanbag down, they go back behind the line and the next participant will go.
9. The participant with the furthest throw wins.
10. If a participant doesn't catch their frisbee after 2 tries, then they are out for the round (or you can give them another change - 3 strikes and you're out).
Variations:
Have targets on the ground and participants have to try to hit them with the frisbee, or so that they land close to the target.
If a participant touches their frisbee, but doesn't catch it, it can still count.
