Objective:
The civilians have to try to not get tagged by the ice giants, and if they do get tagged they have to thaw out by doing an activity that is brought to them by the magician and their bag of tricks.
Other Skills:
Speed
Agility
Set up:
Have the bag of tricks prepared. Use any bag and put the tricks (activities) in the bag. Example of activities are listed in the equipment section.
Use the outside lines of the gym for the boundaries or use pylons/rope to set up the boundaries.
Select 2 participants to be the ice giants, and give them a pinnie to wear.
Select 1 participant to be the magician, and give them the bag of tricks.
The rest of the participants are the civilians, and they scatter around the play area.
Step by Step:
1. On the word 'Go', the game will begin.
2. The ice giants are trying to tag the civilians, and the civilians are trying to avoid getting tagged.
3. The magician cannot be tagged by the ice giants.
4. When a civilian is tagged by an ice giant, they have to freeze where they are with their hands in the air.
5. The magician will be running around looking for civilians that are frozen.
6. When the magician goes to a frozen civilian, they go in front of them and say "Alakazam", and the civilian can reach their hand in the bag of tricks and pull out a piece of paper that has an activity written on it.
7. They will read it out loud, and then perform that activity in order to thaw out (examples of activities are listed in the equipment section) .
8. Once they do the activity, they are unfrozen and can return to the game, but first they have to bring the piece of paper over to the leader.
9. Play for a set amount of time.
10. Change roles!
Variations:
Ice giants will have pool noodles, which will be their icicles, and they have to tag the civilians with the icicles in order to freeze them.
Could tape activities to tennis balls, or another type of ball, and the magician has to throw the ball to the frozen participants.
Have some "activities", that aren't exercises, such as: "Moo like a cow 3 times then bark like a dog 4 times", "Get 5 civilians to high five you", "Bring this sheet of paper to the leader and they will ask you a math question" etc.

Adaptations (General):
Try to incorporate activities which correspond with the strengths of participants with a disability.
