Set up:
Divide participants into groups of 4-5.
Each group will have their own area on a wall. Use tape to mark off a big square on the wall, this is where they ball has to hit.
Give each group a ball.
Step by Step:
1. Each group will number themselves off from one to five (or four if there are four participants).
2. Number one on each team will start with the ball.
3. They will bounce the ball off the ground towards the wall, hitting inside the square outlined with tape.
4. As soon as the ball hits the ground again, the participant that is number two has to run and bounce the ball off the ground and to the wall.
5. Then number three will hit, then number four, then number five and then back to number one and so on.
6. If the ball bounces twice, the participant doesn't hit the ball into the square, or if they hit out of turn, they get a letter.
7. When a participant spells "W-a-l-l-y", they are out for that round.
8. Participants cannot get in the way of the participant going for the ball, they have to move out of the way.
Variations:
Ball can bounce more than once.
Use tennis balls or volleyballs instead.
Participants have to call the number of the participant who has to hit the ball next.
Don't have an outline of a square on the wall.
Use a soccer ball, and participants have to kick the soccer ball inside the tape, without stopping the ball.
Have bigger or smaller groups.
Spell out a different word.

Adaptations (Blindness/Visual Impairment):
Consider using a ball with a bell inside, or tie a plastic bag around it, so that participants who are blind or visually impaired can hear it. Try to orient these participants to the section of wall being targeted by their team.
