Objective:

Other Skills:
Speed
Set up:
Scatter hoops in the activity space, or have them all be at one end (have about 1 hoop per 4 participants).
The participants will start scattered in the activity space.
Step by Step:
1. The goal for each participant is to be standing in one of the hoops at the end of the round.
2. When the round starts, all participants will be trying to get into a hoop, however, there is only one participant allowed in a hoop.
3. Each participant is it, therefore each participant can tag any other participant, and any participant can tag them.
4. When a participant gets tagged, they have to freeze where they are. They're allowed to hold their arms out to try and tag other participants, but they cannot move.
5. When a participant gets to a hoop, they are safe and cannot be tagged.
6. At the end of each round, there will be one participant in each hoop or all the hoops won't be filled, but all participants outside the hoops will be frozen.
7. The participants that are in a hoop get a letter, and the participants that aren't in a hoop have to do a set exercise.
8. The leader will come up with a word for participants to spell, such as: tag, hoop, run, dog, frog and so on.
9. Exercise for participants to do could be: jumping jacks, push ups, burpees, laps of the activity area, sit ups, squats, lunges and so on.
10. Start a new round.
11. First participant(s) to spell the designated word wins.
Variations:
Each participant has a pinnie/flag that they tuck into their waistband (so that enough of the pinnie/flag is hanging out), and a participant is frozen when their pinnie/flag is pulled from their waistband.
Place the hoops down as participants are already playing tag.
Set up an area using pylons or hoop and the first 5 or so participants to get into the area gets a letter.
